Walking
in faith is a constant challenge. But God's Word is Yes and Amen. It
tells us that when we trust the Lord completely, He will uphold us as
"With Wings As Eagles." This is the title of the book that describes
the challenges we faced and my husband, Jack's testimonies of what the
Lord has done.
Jack's
faith, coupled with that of the family, many
friends and ministries has brought him victoriously through several
major trials.
Through
a series of procedures, rehabilitation and re-hospitalization, Jack got
infected with the so-called "hospital infection," Staphylococci, and
his whole system failed. He was hooked onto every conceivable
instrument and had complete kidney failure. He was dying; medically
there was no hope for him. However, after much prayer, God came
through, and in faith we knew without a doubt that he would pull
through despite the 1000-1 odds.
God saw Jack's faith and heard our
prayers! Although he lost his leg due to this infection, and also had a
couple of strokes due to Homocysteine clogging up his arteries, Jack is
fine now. He constantly talks about the love and healing power of God,
before and since his hospital/rehabilitation ordeal. This is all

Jack
has asked me to tell you his story due to the fact that he "wasn't
there" most of the time over a period of a year and a half. He was
either in a coma, in distress, on drugs and/or battling short-term
memory loss. Even now he does not like to talk about his ordeals; and
refuses to look back!
One
Day At a Time
Jack
refuses to dwell on negatives. He has forgiven doctors, professionals
and mistakes that were made; now he lives literally one day at a time.
The past is behind, the future looms exciting, but today is what
counts. He is full of joy, thankful for his miracles, and loves
encouraging everyone he comes into contact with to enjoy TODAY!
A
Thankful Heart
Jack
has learned, and taught us all a valuable lesson: looking back to the
hurts of the past only causes nightmares, disillusionment, bitterness,
depression, anger, resentment, and despair.
Jack
is a remarkable inspiration to all those who know him. He truly is a
living example of how to combine physical, emotional and spiritual
health.
